YouthGoTravel Channel – Goes To Rome

Rome, it’s a never ending city where you can always visit and find new places to explore. This video contains our footage in Rome together. In three days, we itinerated many corners of Rome until we slightly forgot that it was our last city before we separated again by distances. However, it was awesome journey, like usual. There’s also a silly story that I submitted to win Travel World Nomad Scholarship 2014. You can read here 🙂.

Gelato Mission in Gelato Country

There are so many people in the world who are addicted to a particular food. And yeah, I am one of many people who are crazy about ice cream. I had a goal about ice cream that I achieved in 2012.

Finally, in Easter holiday 2012, I realized my dream to go to my favorite country in the whole world, Italy. One of the biggest reason is because of its Gelato. What else! I am in love with this yumm-ooo frozen creamy with many tastes. I love every flavor, except papaya, if it even exists!

Gelato, oh gelato…it makes me better when I am blue, cherishes more the special moments in my life… It’s my inspiration! Finally, I had not only achieved my dream to eat it in front of Colosseo Rome, but also in seven other cities in Italy 8)…

Great People in a Fabulous Festival

All roads lead to Rome! I guess it wasn’t really proper to my situation. I used to dream about visiting Rome. It would have been the first European country that I had visited. Unexpectedly, a country in northern part became my first European country that I stepped on.

When I was a student, for me it was the best period in my life to travel. Being “penny-less” wasn’t a problem! My team and I, we could get sponsors. Even though, mostly the sponsors’ fund didn’t fully cover my expenses, but my spirit was still high up in the sky ;). Indeed, food and accommodation during the events were provided by committee. And yeah, in the name of education, my parents’ support helped a lot.

Yeah, I was so lucky to be invited to International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) 2011, Norway. It was my first student festival because before I wasn’t a person that was updated about so many student festivals around the world. But ISFiT has its own popularity between the students as the first and the biggest student festival in Europe.

Spontaneous Batik Photoshoot With Solid Erasmus Team

I guess two months working in a fashion teenage magazine already gave me such new skills. Well, I am not pro in fashion and beauty, or even photography. I am just a spontaneous person, when I see potentials around me ;). Like what I did, with some girls consisted of one Lithuanian and two Ukrainians. So, let me introduce them to you, dear ladies and gentlemen! The team that helped me to spread the modernity of “Batik”  in Kaunas, Lithuania.

First, please meet my model, Karolina AliukaitÄ—! How did she wanted to be my model? Well, it was kind a unexpected for her because I was talking with two Spanish friends when she passed by. Truly, she has a Lithuanian beauty unlike those tall, skinny and physically model. I’d consider her like Kate Winslet with edgy style! And it just crossed in my mind when she said hello to me. “Would you be my model?” I said. “What?” she was confused. Then I answered, “Well you know, we can make team and make a photo shoot when we have less papers”. “Why me?” she asked again. “I guess you’re beautiful and fun!” I smiled to her. Then she smiled back and nodded. Ok, maybe it sounds like girls’ flirting but both of us, we had boyfriends (FYI). In a brief, she became one of my Erasmus besties!
